Mac Auto Vehicles, a wholly‑owned electric mobility subsidiary of Mac Auto., undertook the acquisition of Faridabad‑based E‑3Wheeler company Mac Auto which sells Electric Auto‑Rickshaws under the popular Mac brand with 74% stake in the company, subject to customary closing conditions.
Through this acquisition, Mac Auto (e‑mobility arm of Mego) will expand its presence in the fast disrupting E‑Rickshaw segment to become an integrated last mile E‑Mobility player with strong presence in both E‑2W and E‑3W. E‑Rickshaw is one of the largest and fastest growing category of electric vehicles in India and offers clean, comfortable and cost‑effective mobility to customers and also increases the daily earning potential of driver community.
The Mac E‑Rickshaw is ICAT approved and outfitted for maximum safety, comfort, performance and profit for drivers.
The Mac E‑Rickshaw meets ICAT standards for safety and performance, offering extra comfort, profit and reliability.
With 48 V/120 Ah battery options, it delivers up to ~100 km per charge and can charge fully in 6–8 hours (lead acid) or ~3–4 hours (Li‑ion).
Topped at ~25 km/h and capable of carrying up to 500 kg, powered by 900 W motor with 1.6 kW peak power.
Suspension comes with hydraulic shocks and leaf‑spring rear; mechanical brakes front and rear ensure safe control.
